“Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to (insert venue name here), the entertainment hub of the universe as we know it!” That’s what I’d be saying right now if this were a show and not a website. But it IS a website and right now it’s my job to introduce myself to you.

My name is Neal D. Bluesman.

I’m a musician/singer/songwriter/comedian.

I have survived earthquakes, blizzards, fires, volcanic eruption, hurricanes, tornadoes, automotive collisions, multiple marriages, poverty, being struck by a car, homelessness, traumatic head injury, broken heart, broken promises, broken vows, broken collarbone, broken strings, fatherhood, catholic school, the U.S. Navy, bankruptcy, fall from a roof, fall from grace, car falling on me, jumping off a bridge, pants filled with bees, an attack by a dog, two vasectomies, over three decades of ”day jobs” and much, much more.... So far!

My music influences: Big band swing, barbershop (you gotta love those harmonies!), John Fogerty and everything else I heard.

Comedy influences: Pretty much everyone I’ve ever met.

Live shows is where it’s at for me. Don’t get me wrong, I love recording, but doing a live show just gets me in a frenzy.

By the time I’m done with even a short set I am soaked! Ever since Elvis died and Meat Loaf lost weight I’m the sweatiest guy in showbiz.
